Winter Polo in Edmonton

Well it’s time to start update this blog more often so people can see when we are playing and hopefully it will attract some new players.

 

So we have been playing winter polo for the past two weekends and it’s been great. It really is a treat to ride indoor and be warm for a change. For the details on when and where we play see below.

Sunday’s from 1-5pm

Location: Faculte Saint-Jean Gym

Cost $10 drop in fee.

We have bikes that we can share and we have mallets that you can use. So don’t be worried about not having the “gear”. Also is you just are in the neighborhood and what to stop in a watch and game or two you are more then welcome.

Saturday Polo

call your mates and cancel your dates, it’s polo time!

here’s the plan:

Ritchie at 4:30 on Saturday (aka tomorrow). We’ll play until it’s dark and then see how people are feeling and we might head over to Lister after. Kind of depends on the weather, but we’ll play for sure at Ritchie from 4:30 – dark. Dress warm and feel better knowing your beers will stay cold.
